Using a test procedure called calorimetry, we placed identical beakers of water at the backrest of a Transcend heater and a typical panel heater, both saunas at 100°F air temperature, and filmed both. The Transcend beaker heated 34% faster. The reason: Transcend heaters put more infrared into the cabin and aim it where you sit, instead of spreading it across the walls.
Three kinds of fields. We address all three.
An electric sauna can expose you to three kinds of fields: electric fields, created by voltage; magnetic fields, created by current; and radio-frequency fields, created by wireless electronics. Most “low EMF” saunas only address magnetic fields. Triple Antifield is our name for addressing all three throughout the cabin, from the heaters to the wiring, the controller and the touchscreen.
Electric fields: In Transcend heaters, a patented conductive layer stops the electric field before it leaves the heater.
Magnetic fields: In Transcend heaters, current runs out and back through paired paths, so their magnetic fields cancel each other. We mitigate fields from the cabin wiring, controller and touchscreen too.
Radio frequency: On every model, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth can be switched off completely. With them off, your sauna emits no RF.
Nothing hidden at 0 Hz. Converting a sauna’s power to DC can make fields disappear from standard EMF meters without removing them. We don’t do that, so the fields we’ve reduced are actually reduced.
