Ideal Spectrum™
Infrared is a band of light that we experience as heat. The light is converted to heat by a process called resonant absorption. That’s a process where the infrared light transfers energy to the body when bonds in particular molecules resonate. Those molecules can be water, melanin (in your skin), or hemoglobin (in your blood).
Our heaters are Ideal Spectrum™ heaters. That means that they only emit far infrared, which only resonates with water molecules. This is the safest and healthiest infrared, and responsible for all of the health benefits found in studies of infrared saunas.

We compared the Transcend infrared heater architecture to the panel heater architecture. With some variation, the panel heater architecture is found in all of the other leading brands of infrared saunas, and is identifiable by the huge inside wall space that the heaters must cover.
