Sizing & Placement for a 2-Person Infrared Sauna
One of the reasons the 2-person model is our most popular is how easily it fits into everyday living spaces. Here is what you need to know before choosing a spot in your home.
Compact Enough for Any Room
You need a floor area of roughly 4' × 4' and a ceiling height of at least 6'6". That is comparable to the footprint of a large recliner - it fits comfortably in most bedrooms, basements, and home gyms.
Interior: 45" wide × 41" deep × 70" tall — with a 32½" bench height for comfortable seating and a 20" deep seat.
Best Rooms
Our customers most commonly place the 2-person sauna in a master bedroom, spare bedroom, basement, or home gym. An insulated garage also works well. The sauna does not produce steam or moisture that would damage walls or flooring, so no special room preparation is needed.
Electrical
Both 2-person models plug into a standard 120V, 15-amp household outlet — the same type used by most lamps and appliances. No electrician, no special wiring, no additional cost. We recommend using a dedicated circuit (not shared with other high-draw appliances) for the best performance.
Ventilation & Plumbing
None required. Our saunas are dry-heat — they produce no steam and need no drain. The built-in active ventilation system manages air exchange within the cabin automatically. You can place the sauna in any room with standard heating and cooling.
Delivery & Assembly
Your sauna arrives as wrapped and packaged panels via freight shipping with free delivery in the continental US. Every panel fits through a standard doorway — no need to remove doors or windows. Most customers complete assembly in about an hour with no special tools required.
Moving & Relocating
Because the sauna assembles with buckle hardware rather than permanent fasteners, it can be fully disassembled and reassembled if you move. Several of our long-time customers have taken their saunas with them across multiple homes over 10 or even 20 years.
Weight
The fully assembled 2-person sauna weighs less than a standard upright piano and is well within the floor load capacity of any standard home, including upper floors. The individual panels are light enough to carry one at a time during setup, and two people can reposition the assembled unit short distances if needed.
